Vanessa Zoltan is a research assistant at Harvard Divinity School. She graduated with her BA in English Literature and Writing from Washington University in St. Louis, her MS in Nonprofit Management from the University of Pennsylvania and her MDiv from Harvard Divinity School in 2015. She is working on a book about treating Jane Eyre as a sacred text. Her work with Jane Eyre and Harry Potter has been written about in The New York Times and covered on CNN. Casper ter Kuile
Casper ter Kuile is building a world of joyful belonging. He is a Ministry Innovation Fellow at Harvard Divinity School and a Strategist at On Being. Casper is the co-author of How We Gather, a cultural map of Millennial communities, and the co-founder of the UK Youth Climate Coalition and Campaign Bootcamp. He's a graduate of Harvard’s Divinity and Kennedy Schools and his work has been featured in The New York Times, The Boston Globe and on NPR. He lives in Cambridge, MA. with his husband Sean.
Ariana Nedelman is a former Associate Producer at Pemberley Digital, where she helped produce an Emmy Award winning adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma. She also worked as the Social Media Manager at PBS Digital Studios, where she focused on building engaged audiences around educational programming. Her love of and interest in meaning-making communities has taken her from literary fandoms to religion, and she is currently pursuing an MDiv at Harvard Divinity School.
Brigid has her BA in Applied Anthropology from Hendrix College and her MTS from Harvard Divinity School. She currently works as Assistant Director of Education at Temple Israel of Boston. In addition to managing program operations, she teaches teenagers about the Holocaust through film, literature, and pop culture. Her current class is titled "Harry Potter and the Holocaust" and she is the co-author of the article "Should ‘Harry Potter’ Be Included in the Canon of Holocaust Literature?".

She likes eating lemon scones, drinking a lot of water, and being mentioned on each episode of Harry Potter and the Sacred Text. Amanda Madigan is a rising Junior at Brown University who has been lucky enough to have had spent many of her formative adolescent years around Vanessa, Casper and Ariana. She is studying Literary Arts and Italian Studies and is interested in translation, experimental writing, and reading and re-reading beloved books. She is currently working on translations of selected cantos of Dante’s Inferno, selected plays by Franca Rame, and the letters of Alfredo Ormando. Amanda Skypes daily with her girlfriend Alessia, and they read Harry Potter out loud to each other in their first languages.
